Ganbatte

In today's challenging times, many people feel they must rebuild their lives just as the Japanese have always done after wars and natural disasters. The secret of Japanese people to be reborn again and again from its ashes, like the Phoenix, is in the philosophy of “ganbatte”, a Japanese word that could be translated as "do the best you can, and never give up". Thus, as in many countries, before taking an exam, or a job interview, you say "good luck!", the Japanese often say "ganbatte!", to invite a person to do his best.
