This Epistle, originally written in latin by Benjamin Musafia, was published in 1640, then it mysteriously disappeared. In 1694 it appeared again in the O. Hermetico-Paracelsico-Trismegistum, by Johann Ludwig Hannemann. Here Carmen de la Maza includes the facsimile of Hannemann and some interesting extracts dedicated to the gold symbolism. / Escrita originalmente en latín por el cabalista judío Benjamín Musafia, esta Epístola sobre el oro potable se publicó por primera vez en 1640 en Hamburgo, pero desapareció misteriosamente sin que se haya podido aclarar por qué. No fue hasta el año 1694 cuando apareció de nuevo en el tratado Ovum hermetico-paracelsico-trismegistum de Johann Ludwig Hannemann, que le dedica grandes elogios. La presente edición, preparada por Carmen de la Maza, incluye el facsímil de la de Hannemann, así como extracto del Sefer haZohar y el Esh Mezareph dedicados al apasionante simbolismo del oro.
