The Night Ninja and the Black Lion is an imaginative book about Martin, a boy who doesn't like going to bed. At night, he solves a series of problems with the help of the spirit of the lamp Akari, who transforms him into a Night Ninja and gives him good advice along the way. When Martin has to go to bed, he discovers that his favourite pillow is missing. Without it, he can't sleep. Martin must transform into a Night Ninja to sneak away from the Knight (Dad) and confront the Black Lion (the family dog), in order to retrieve the Incredible Pillow. A deliciously hard-boiled and exciting goodnight tale for anyone who likes ninjas. This is the first title in a planned series.
