The Song of Songs (sometimes also called Song of Solomon or Canticle of Canticles, depending upon the Bible translation you're using) is an exquisite collection of love songs, arranged to tell a dramatic tale of mutual desire and courtship. It represents the “totality of the whole Torah, the totality of the whole work of Creation,” and everything else that matters / El Shir haShirim o Cantar de los Cantares es probablemente el libro más hermoso y hermético de toda la Biblia. De una belleza inigualable y una poesía exquisita goza, además, de múltiples interpretaciones. La mayoría de éstas se hallan recogidas en el Sefer haZohar o Libro del Esplendor. Tal es su importancia que el Zohar declara que es “un cántico que contiene toda la Torah” y Kodesh Kodashim, o sea Santo de Santos.
