During one of their biggest numbers, Voodini's parents, Houdini Junior, a great escape artist and illusionist, and his assistant Stella Samori mysteriously disappear. What would have been cause for despair if hers had been a normal family, was not at all, and Voodini, as distraught as she is over her parents' sudden disappearance, knows it could be her most successful show to date... One very hot summer day, Voodini's grandmother receives a letter: she must go to Haiti urgently.
