In 1692, several people were arrested and accused of practicing witchcraft in Salem. Those who brought the accusations were white witches, and those sentenced to the gallows belonged to bloodlines of dark witches. Until then, the covens of both sides had coexisted in balance. Very soon two schools were created: Abbot, the academy of magic of creation for descendants of white witches, and Ravenswood, for witches where dark studies were held.
