Aldo Leopold is one of the mythical figures of contemporary environmentalism. From that time when he was very young, a wolf died in his arms - and he understood that the disappearance of the wild will bring the end of our world - until the moment of his death while trying to put out a forest fire, Leopold dedicated all his life to the preservation of nature. He was a forest ranger and teacher, activist and writer, and among his many books, this one that we present to you stands out: an indispensable classic on the same level as Thoreau's "Walden."
