The Book Rebels

Welcome to Banalia, a town where books are forbidden. Pierluigi's parents are in a strangely good mood, because they have just decided to go on vacation to Banalia: it's not too far but not too close either; nice but not unforgettable; why go then? Pierluigi is so bored. And so are his new friends: the twins Edoardo and Everardo, and the brave Margherita. Until one day they discover something strange in Banalia: children are TOTALLY FORBIDDEN FROM READING BOOKS. At first it doesn't seem like much, but soon the four are involved in top-secret missions, clandestine meetings, manhunts, book thefts, and even prophecies. Because reading, of course, is one of the most exciting adventures of all.
