Rose has always dreamed of opening a coffee shop in the building owned by her uncle. But when her uncle dies, his will leaves no room for doubt: the building will belong to Rose's husband, not her. However, there is one small detail that her uncle may not have counted on: Rose is single. And her fiancé has just left her. That is when Jack, her uncle's lawyer (whom she has just met), proposes an unexpected solution: marry her. This way, Rose will be able to open the coffee shop she has always dreamed of and Jack will inherit the building. Maybe theirs is just a marriage of convenience, but it is certainly not easy. Despite having been his idea, Jack behaves in an unbearable and surly way... Although, suddenly, he does something that shows Rose that he may have a softer side.
