Laird Koenig (The Girl Who Lives Down the Road) returns alongside Peter L. Dixon in a terrifying thriller. It's the last week of summer. The blinding Californian sun scorches the beaches of Malibu. In a huge house by the sea, all the curtains are closed. The five Moss children stare at a huge television from dawn until they fall asleep in front of the screen. The parents, a couple of actors, are in Italy filming a movie. And the nanny? Isn't she taking care of them? That was until three days ago, when her body was found floating on the seashore. Only the children know the truth of what happened.
