Willy Wolters dreams of conducting an internationally renowned orchestra, although there is a slight downside: Willy is a woman. In 1926, few have seen a woman conducting an orchestra and conservatories rarely admit them, unless she is studying one of the instruments considered "feminine." However, Willy is determined. She will be the first. But fate is capricious, and when the love of her life appears, the young woman will have to choose between paying attention to her heart or pursuing a perhaps impossible dream. The conductor immerses us in the true story of the Dutch Antonia Brico, a woman who fought tirelessly to make a place among the greats of classical music.
