La celestina

The Celestine is a magnificent story which is also known as Tragicomedia de Calisto y Melibea, the work of Fernando de Rojas, a Spanish writer who was found between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, uniting in his writings these convulsive stages of history . It is said that he had some support from a mysterious hand to add five more acts to this story, but still remains a great classic. The story tells the illicit love of the young Calisto and Melibea, who are helped by Celestina, an old procuress who is also helped by a vast court of servants to achieve the happiness of the boys.
