This edition of the Bible, prepared with the collaboration of more than 50 specialists, presents the translation of the Holy Bible of the Spanish Episcopal Conference (CEE), enriched with introductions to the various biblical books, numerous marginal cross-references, extensive notes on translation and interpretation, and a glossary of more than 350 biblical terms covering the entire History of Salvation from beginning to end. It is intended for “prayerful reading,” whether personal or communal, and follows the most ancient approach to Sacred Scripture: reading the Bible with the Bible itself through a threefold path — scrutatio, meditatio, and oratio — thus fostering a personal, existential, and contemporary relationship with the Word of God. It is an indispensable resource for Bible study groups, communities, meditation groups, parish groups, pastors, religious and consecrated persons, seminarians, catechists, confirmation candidates, married couples, religion teachers, and all the faithful.
