Anger plays a highly relevant adaptive role in our survival. Among human emotions, anger is the most harshly judged and frequently condemned. It's even worse when it transforms into resentment and bitterness that poison our lives and those of others. However, it is the emotion with the greatest power to move us to action and provide us with the energy necessary to bring about major changes, both personal and social. Roberta Milanese invites us to take a step back from the topic of anger to learn to distinguish its fundamental function in our survival, to recognize the mechanisms that trigger it, and to contemplate it as a powerful means of transformation.
