After their journey in Egyptian lands, the pirate Garrapata and his inseparable companion Carafoca take the time tunnel and, disoriented, land in China in 246 B.C., ruled by the terrible emperor Shi Hoang Ti. In those lands they meet an old acquaintance, the Chinese Kulipin, with whom they go to see the emperor. However, the emperor mistakes them for spies and sentences them to fifty years and one day of hard labor on the Great Wall of China. But that's not all: to make matters worse, Shi Hoang Ti has become infatuated with Floripondia, the pirate's great love, who had also ended up in China, and intends to marry her. In order to avoid this mess, Garrapata and his friends will have to overcome obstacles and live numerous adventures. Will they be able to free themselves from the sentence and escape to travel again in search of new adventures?
