Would you fall in love with someone if you knew you were going to forget them? During the summer of 1953, Sienna arrives in Arezzo seeking a second chance in the Tuscan city after fleeing Milan. There she meets Niccolo, who spends his days in the shoe shop he has come to call home. He is a friend of Antonio, who is in charge of repairing the cathedral organ, and has no idea what Sienna is capable of… Memories have a price; erasing them, too… In June 2024, Bruno watches as his grandfather begins to remember someone he loved in his youth and whom he is only now able to name. That is why he asks Chiara for help, knowing that she, like the rest of her family, is able to erase other people's memories at will. With the intention of spending a summer discovering the story their grandparents shared 70 years ago, Bruno and Chiara rekindle a friendship they thought they had lost while reconstructing the tale of a love lost in time.
