Yolanda Blanco, the youngest of 'The Six' Nicaraguan poets of the 1970s, is a key figure in Central American literature. This anthology gathers her best texts, reflecting themes such as identity, motherhood, love, social criticism, ecology, and politics. In addition to her poetry, she has been an advocate for human rights and gender equity. Her poem "Oración" (1976) is emblematic of gender poetry, covering sexual, political, and religious themes.
