Being a mother, and being a mother at the same time as other mothers to accompany her, but also with whom to compare herself. Being a daughter, and being the daughter of a mother who fights to not only be a mother, and to think in the same direction or against it. Being a writer, and considering literature perhaps as another form of motherhood, and perhaps motherhood as another form of creation. The author addresses an experience full of joys and sorrows, and starts from the experience of motherhood to reflect on one's own identity, its construction and its destruction; an identity that encompasses the condition of mother, and also that of writer... Leire Bilbao is one of the fundamental authors of contemporary poetry in Basque.
